Rocket 21 prop firm offers funded account challenges ranging from 5k to 300k USD on a 2-step process. There is also a 1-step account, but the firm advertises its 2-step process more, trying to attract clients to those accounts. Traders must hit the profit target twice to get funded and trade for profit withdrawals. The firm has very mixed reviews on Trustpilot and no reviews on the FPA indicating serious service inefficiencies.
In today’s Rocket 21 review, we will evaluate the firm’s security and safety, funding options, assets, platforms, support, and much more.

Safety of Rocket 21 – 0
There are no Rocket 21 reviews on the FPA, which is always a red flag. The firm was launched somewhere in 2022 making it very young and inexperienced in the prop trading industry. After checking the Trustpilot reviews and evaluations, the firm is receiving much criticism for having a failed migration to DXTrade from MT4. Traders seemed to be losing their profits and withdrawals were denied after this migration, which made many traders frustrated. Overall, the firm has a 3.8 score in the Trustpilot, which is terrible for this platform. Anything below 4.6 scores on the Trustpilot is equal to those below 3 on other platforms. Another important safety factor is whether the firm is partnered with regulated brokers to ensure a safe and transparent trading environment. Rocket 21 seems to be failing in these criteria as well, as it uses DXTrade without regulated brokers.
The firm gets a 0 score in this section, for providing no safety features at all, making it risky to sign up and trade on their funded challenges.
Rocket 21 Funding and maximum capital allocation – 3
Rocket 21 funded programs are two Standard and Apollo 11. Apollo 11 is a 1-step challenge that has lower fees when compared to Standard 2-step accounts, which is strange, as 1-step allows you to get funded faster. The funded options for both funded account types are exactly the same and include 5k, 10k, 25k, 50k, 100k, 200k, and 300k USD funded accounts.
Rocket 21 funding options are really diverse and allow both beginners and experienced traders to select their suitable funded option. The only huge downside with the firm is its strict rules and lack of proper safety features, making it impossible for us to recommend Rocket 21 to anyone yet.
The Standard Rocket 21 challenge, which is a 2-step funded account, is inferior to the 1-step Apollo 1 accounts when it comes to the speed of getting funded. The 1-step model of Apollo 11 allows traders to hit the profit target once and get funded, while the Standard account requires them to go through a 2-step process of hitting the profit target twice.
Rocket 21 scaling plan allows traders to increase their default maximum funding. After 3 consecutive profitable months, traders can activate a scaling plan and start gradually increasing their account. The maximum scaling ceiling is up to 2 million dollars.
Overall, Rocket 21 gets a 3 score in this section for offering diverse funded options but lacking higher amounts in default funding and lower options for absolute beginners.
Rocket 21 Assets – 2.5
Rocket 21 prop trading assets allowed include popular instruments from Forex pairs, Metals, Oils, Indices, and Crypto pairs. Oil and metals are commodities, so the firm has only four different asset classes offered, which makes it a Forex prop trading firm. There are no other assets such as stocks, bonds, futures, and options which is a downside for Rocket 21 firm. The firm allows traders to use leverage on all these assets but has different limits for each phase.
Leverage limits for the Evaluation Phase:
- Forex 1:30
- Gold and Commodities 1:10
- Indices 1:5
- Crypto 1:1
Leverage limits for Funded Phases:
- Forex 1:30
- Gold and Commodities 1:10
- Indices 1:5
- Crypto 1:1
As we can see, crypto traders will have to use 1:1 leverage, which is a drawback. Overall, Rocket 21 receives a 2.5 score in this selection for offering a mediocre list of instruments.
Rocket 21 Trading rules and limitations – 1.5

Copy trading is not allowed and traders will get disqualified if any copy trading services are used to pass the evaluations. News trading is only allowed during the evaluation phases and is prohibited during the funded phase. Holding positions overnight and over the weekends is also allowed for only Apollo 21 accounts and is strictly prohibited for the Standard accounts. The Apollo 21 account acts as a swing trading account.
Overall, Rocket 21 gets a 1.5 score in the rules section for offering an overall below-average experience with strict rules.

Rocket 21 free trial is not available and the Rocket 21 free repeat is not offered at the moment. The firm offers discounts at the moment, which adds to its score in this section. Rocket 21 gets a 4 score in the fees section for offering competitive pricing and discounts while lacking a free trial and free repeat.
Rocket 21 Platforms – 2.4
Rocket 21 recently switched from MetaTrader 4 to DXTrade which is a downgrade. MT4 is more advanced and supports both automated trading robots and custom indicators. The platform is relatively new and still lacks many crucial features. However, indicators and features are added constantly, and it can become a good prop trading platform in the near future. As of now, Rocket 21 gets a 2.4 score in this section.
Rocket 21 Profit-Sharing – 1
Rocket 21 profit split is set at 80%. However, there are many comments and reviews by traders mentioning the firm declined withdrawals and made them lose their accounts. With this information in mind, this 80% profit split while descent is still not enough to recommend this firm to our readers.
Overall, Rocket 21 gets a 1 score in this section.
Education and trading tools at Rocket 21 – 1
Rocket 21 lacks educational resources but has a trading blog available. On this blog, traders can find various posts about financial trading, but it can not be used for a decent education. The firm lacks trading courses, webinars, and video guides. There are tools included in the trader dashboard to measure a trader’s performance and check other important information.
Overall, Rocket 21 gets a 1 score in this section.
Customer Support at Rocket 21 – 3.6
Customer support by Rocket 21 includes several popular channels including live chat, email, and hotline options. The live chat has a built-in help center where traders can browse through the FAQ section. Both the website and support are offered only in two languages, making Rocket 21 inferior to other international prop firms.
