My Funded Futures prop firm review — Poor safety, high fees

My Funded Futures prop firm offers traders the ability to purchase funded account challenges and trade on futures after they get funded. However, after traders pass the evaluation challenge they are not given real funded accounts, only virtual funded accounts. So the firm only offers a demo trading with virtual cash on the account. This is a major red flag, and the firm clearly has the motivation to make its traders fail the evaluation so it can collect fees. This raises serious concerns about the safety of My Funded Futures prop trading firm. The conflict of interest which motivates the firm to collect fees and pay out as little profit as possible is always bad for traders.

Safety of My Funded Futures- 0

My Funded Futures reviews are lacking on the FPA, as the firm is young and lacks experience in the industry. All trading conditions are simulated and traders are never actually given real funded accounts even after they pass the assessment, which raises some serious security issues. The firm does not need a broker as it offers a simulated trading environment, which is also a red flag as it might manipulate prices.

The firm gets a 0 score in this section because it lacks trader reviews, has no regulated broker partner, and is inexperienced in the industry.

My Funded Futures Funding and Maximum Capital Allocation — 2

My Funded Futures funded programs range from 50k to 150k and traders can also purchase the 100k funded option. The firm has no other choices for financing futures trading which is a downside and the fees are very high. There are two modes of funding, starter, and expert.

My Funded Futures funding options are limited, and the firm could be more beginner-friendly, targeting only traders who can pay expensive monthly fees.

My Funded Futures challenges can be purchased to become an expert account holder, and they do not have to pay activation fees, but the profit target is higher. The firm also has more difficult rules for expert-funded accounts, and traders have to be very consistent and careful with their trading decisions.

My Funded Futures scaling plan allows traders to increase their funding to a maximum of 600k USD, this maximum ceiling can also be achieved by combining several funded accounts into one. Overall, the firm gets a 2 score for limited funding options.

My Funded Futures Assets — 0.5

My Funded Futures prop trading only offers futures for trading, limiting traders’ possibility to access diverse markets, and funding is not real. The firm allows traders to speculate on futures without broker support. My Funded Futures have a limited contract number, 5 for 50k accounts, 10 for 100k, and 15 for 150k virtual funded accounts.

The firm gets a 0.5 score in this section for offering only one asset class.

My Funded Futures Trading rules and limitations — 1.3

My Funded Futures rules are very strict as traders can not lose more than 3% overall. While My Funded Futures prop firm has no daily risk limit, the 3% maximum drawdown is super strict, and it is super easy to breach this rule. The profit target is high at 6% for starter and 8% for expert accounts.

Overall, the firm gets a 1.3 score in the rules section for very strict risk limits.

My Funded Futures Fees — 1.5

There are two types of fees for purchasing the My Funded Futures funded accounts, monthly fees, and activation fees, making it a very expensive prop firm. The monthly fees are 100, 200, and 300 USD for 50k, 100k, and 150k funded accounts. The activation fees are 149 USD for all accounts, increasing the start-up costs considerably.

My Funded Futures free trial is not available, and traders have to purchase an account to test the trading conditions and spreads.

My Funded Futures free repeat is not available as there is a 100 USD reset fee if the trader fails. Overall, the firm gets a 1.5 score in this section for poor fee structure and expensive commissions.

My Funded Futures Platforms — 3.5

The only place where My Funded Futures shines is the availability of diverse advanced trading platforms including NinjaTrader, R | Trader Pro, Tradovate, TradingView, Quantower, and Sierra Chart. These are too many platforms for just trading futures. Traders can analyze markets comprehensively with their preferred futures platforms to make informed decisions.

For offering these many advanced choices, the firm gets a 3.5 score for offering a diverse range of platforms with advanced features.

My Funded Futures Profit-Sharing — 2

My Funded Futures profit split is 100% up to 10,000 USD withdrawals and is capped at 90% after that. The firm paying out 90% and 100% profits to traders means it is not making money from proprietary trading and is mainly collecting fees and has rules to reduce pass rates considerably. This is a major red flag, and we advise our readers to exercise extra caution with the My Funded Futures prop trading firm. Traders can only withdraw once per 60 days, which is a very bad withdrawal policy. The firm gets a 2 score in this section.

Education and trading tools at My Funded Futures — 0

MFF is not focused on beginners, as its accounts are expensive, and the firm does not offer any educational resources. There are no webinars, seminars, courses, or video guides and no tools. As a result, the firm gets a 0 score in this section.

Customer Support at My Funded Futures — 2.4

The support at My Funded Futures is provided via live chat and email. There are no other options including a hotline which is a red flag. The website and support are only available in the English language. The firm gets a 2.4 score in this section for offering mediocre support experience.
